Clan *auR was formed in Q1 of 2006 consisting of most members from our previous clan, ! ^. *auR aims to be a competitive and team orientated clan, the players are friends with a common goal who enjoys playing together as a team, their locations however are not limited to Singapore, we have/had players of different countries such as Japan, Australia, Malaysia, USA, Taiwan, Philipines and South Africa. We got together through our dearest game, Team Fortress Classic. Most of us have been playing the game for years but it was only during 2006 where we found the need to achieve more then just pubbing, therefore a few like minded people (us) got together to bring the game to the next level.

Using the experience gained from our previous clan, we participated in FPSJP18 and ozfl9 with a stronger desire to win. We then finally got our first major achievement by taking away the championship title of FPSJP18, edging out long standing clans such as =High, Kg* and [Disney]. However, with ozfl we faced immense difficulty with latency, players and tougher opponents from Australia.

With the so called “death” of TFC, we have now moved on to TF2 and FF (which is sadly about to join TFC). Members such as marigold, Nic, Rfx(xfr), freeze, rare and Kw are now actively playing TF2 and hopefully remaining players such as r3 would eventually purchase a new PC and TF2. Our desire to play competitively still remain in this new era and game. Unlike TFC, we hope the huge success of TF2 locally would eventually see Singapore having their own league/ladder between the different clans of new and old.
